Twin Cities Holiday Lights 2015

It’s that time of the year! Homeowners and businesses across the Twin Cities will soon be putting up spectacular Holiday light displays that show off their love of the holiday, as well as their creativity. If you live in the Twin Cities or plan to visit soon, here is a list the best Christmas light displays in the Twin Cities area. We know this isn’t a complete list and that there are probably many more displays out there. Greenlaw Realty would like to make this the best list of Twin Cities Holiday Lights 2015, so if you know of a house or business that needs to be added to the list, please let us know.

1.  Holidazzle in Loring Park, Minneapolis MN.

The Holidazzle Celebration in downtown Minneapolis is a yearly favorite. This annual celebration of the holiday season is a must see. They have lights, shows, fireworks, skating, movies, etc. You can go to their website www.holidazzle.com for a complete list of times and events.

2. Macys 8th Floor Holiday Display. Nicollet Ave. Minneapolis, MN

When making your plans, consider the kid friendly, annual Holiday Display on the 8th floor of the downtown Macy’s. This free, festive display is family fun that can easily be combined with a viewing of the Holidazzle parade or a little holiday shopping.

3. CSE Winter Light Show. UofMN Minneapolis, MN

The CSE Winter Light Show is a student-designed 3D outdoor experience featuring more than 200,000 LED lights set to music, some of which is written and recorded by University of Minnesota students. Now in its fifth year, the CSE Winter Light Show has become an annual campus tradition. This year the shows are bigger and better than ever

4. Rice Park, St. Paul, MN.

Rice Park in St. Paul is one of our favorite spots to enjoy the Holiday festivities in the Twin Cities. They have winter skating at the Wells Fargo Winter Skate, beautiful white lights surrounded by impressive buildings, ice sculptures, and of course all of your favorite Peanuts characters.

5. Holiday Lights in the Park, Lake Phalen, St. Paul, MN

Minnesota’s Largest Holiday Lights Drive. The lights are set to go on Tuesday, November 24 and brighten the season until January 1, 2016

6. Grand Ave. St. Paul, MN
Drive down all of Grand Ave. in St. Paul, MN

Grand Ave in St. Paul is known for it’s annual holiday lights displays. This unique street of boutiques, businesses and homes offers the public a great opportunity to drive and check out the lights or to get out of your car and to take it all in.

7. Summit Ave. St. Paul, MN
Drive down the entire stretch of Summit Ave.

Summit Avenue is home to some of the largest and most majestic Victorian homes in the Saint Paul. Homeowners all along the avenue often decorate with classic Victorian style Christmas lights. The Governor’s official home and Christmas Tree is at 1006 Summit Avenue, with a competing, equally large, Christmas tree directly opposite. It is also one block down from Grand Ave, so you can drive down Grand Ave and Come back up Summit Ave.

8. Mall of America, Universe of Light Holiday Light Show.

If you need to get out of the car and walk around a little bit, The Mall of America is bringing back the Universe of Light Holiday Light Show. In addition to all of the great sights, light shows, and shopping, you can check out the lights and excitement of Nickelodeon Universe.
